JOB SHADOWING 

The third job shadowing took place in Poland from 4 of June until 12 of June, 2019 and included 5 fellows from Ukraine and Georgia. 

The main target group of the activity as in the previous job shadowing’s were the youth workers, youth centers managers, public authority representatives directly working with the youth and actively involved in the youth field.

The main objectives of the shadowing were:

-        To observe the work of youth centres and participate in its activities

-        To get to know the tools and framework necessary for operational planning of youth centre

-        To observe cooperation between youth centres and youth organizations

-        To practice designing and leading youth participatory activities

-        To gain experience of youth centre management

-        To increase capacities of youth centres in partner countries

-        To further develop the abilities of youth workers from partner countries

 

The first day was dedicated were spent in Chorzów and fellows visited various youth clubs and youth centres , furthermore  they have met the youth of #Wolka and Chorzowskie Cultural Center. 

 

 

The next day’s were spent in Brenna, where fellows together with representatives of the foundation prepared a workshops as the part of the “Youth Council advisors or activists” project, where  participants were Youth City Councils representatives.

 

By visiting the various youth centres and clubs, assisting local youth workers in their work and organizing a series of workshops for youth at first raise the theoretical knowledge of fellows and developed their  professional and practical competences of youth workers.
